Hey guys. If you have a chance in the next four days could you go check out my photos in the Capture My Chicago contest? http://www.capturemychicago.com/people/semuelle77 If you like them... vote! I'm really late to the game in submitting these, but it would be so amazing to have a photo included in the book they are publishing.

I went over to my friends' (Zac and Tyler) place tonight. It was the premier of So You Think You Can Dance. It is our show. Our weekly indulgence in reality television. It made me ever so happy to see Ryan back, and put through to Vegas. Boy better be in the top 20 this time!!!

After SYTYCD was Glee. Oh lord, I don't think I have laughed that hard in... I don't know how long. Seriously, I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Jane whatsherbucket is hilarious as the coach of the Cheerios (the cheerleading team.) I've loved her since I saw Best In Show. I really couldn't imagine anyone else playing her role. All the students are played by teens or actors who actually look like teens. Shocking, I know. The singing is great. If they keep throwing in performances like the one of "Push It" that they did for the school assembly, I will need to invest in adult diapers. Seriously, I almost peed myself, I was laughing so hard.

There are no good videos of it on YouTube yet. I will keep my eyes peeled and try to post one.

I am doing a (slow) rewatch of Buffy. I am currently on season 5. I had forgotten how heartbreaking and amazing "The Body" was. Wow. It was realistic and honest about how people react to the death of a loved one. I do wish they had not thrown in the one vamp. I think it distracted from what was most important. It would have been nice to see the death dealt with without a single supernatural creature in the mix. The being said, having already seen it years ago, it still had an emotional impact.

I absolutely HAVE to see this! It looks so damn cool. Seriously, Jonny Depp as the Mad Hatter? Perfect!

(Sorry, YouTube didn't have the code to embed the trailer.)

It is almost Fall outside. Seriously. I love it! Could it please stay like this for the next few months? Mid-60's to mid-70's is ideal to me. OK, throw in a 50 degree day here of there so I can bust out a sweater, but mild and medium is my preference. I don't like cold. I don't like heat. What the hell am I doing living in Chicago?

Going out to walk around with Homer so we can enjoy it all. Too bad Kamikaze Kitty never took to the harness and leash :)

OK, I came up with a few name ideas. I need imput, people!!! Help a girl out!

Poll #1443241 Name my ETSY store!

Which name do you think I should choose for my ETSY store?

Sass n' Class
Zoe's Arcadia (after my cat and the fact that my items are two of her favorite things: flowers & yarn)
Fava's Fripperies
Euterpe's Grotto/Bower (Euterpe is the muse of music. Me = music teacher. Grotto or Bower because of the flower stuff)
All those ideas suck. I'll suggest my idea in the comments section.

Here are some of the things I have made:

I have some more personal stuff to share soon. Soon. I need to think about it some more before I share. Real life can be a bitch.

It's been... crap! 8 months since I last posted. Real life got seriously hectic and then school let out and I headed to New York (which was incredible) and now I'm back and... wishing I were back in NY.

I am at the fading end of summer break. Trying to keep myself busy and avoid the stir crazy phase has lead to lots of crafting. It's fun. I can sit around watching movies and have something to show for it in the end. Now I have all these finished products laying around. I'm considering starting an ETSY store. I'm stumped on the first and biggest step: choosing a name. Any suggestions? I'm making felt and cloth flowers (pins, bracelets, hair doodads) and crocheted items(scarves, fingerless gloves), some of which have those felt/cloth flowers decorating them. I want a name that is cute, possibly reflects my creations, but isn't limited to flowers.

I need some help! Someone more creative than I, what do you think?
